Bread, Semolina Bread!!

Again one more experiment with Baking Breads! Simply, I don't why love baking breads a lot and we do need it for our morning breakfast :) :)

Saw one of the posts of Sooji Bread in one of the food groups and made my mind to try my hands on it! And look at that! I nailed it totally and loved the every crunch of it!

Let's quickly look at Ingredients:
  • Crushed or Powdered Semolina/Sooji/Rava - 3 1/2 cups (Simply crushed the Sooji into grinder and sieve it properly)
  • Luke warm Water - 1 1/2 cup
  • Instant Rapid Yeast - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
Method:
Powdered the Semolina in grinder.

Take half cup of luke warm water, add yeast and sugar. Let it proof or get frothy for around 10-12 minutes.

Sieve the powdered sooji and add salt to it. Mix well.
Add yeast mixture into the dough. Add oil and start kneading it for around 10-12 minutes. Add around 2 tbsp of oil into it and knead again to make a soft pliable dough.  Cover it with the Cling/food wrap and let it rise for around 1 1/2 hour.

Rise of the dough :) :)

Look at these beautiful holes :)  Punch the dough and knead for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, grease the pan and shape the dough accordingly in the pan. Let it set again for 50 minutes.

Preheat the oven at 375 F and bake it for around 35-40 minutes. And Taaaaadaaaaa!!!!! It's ready :D :D

2nd Rise :)

Bake the bread and enjoy it with your family :) :)
