- Baked Chaklis - Healthy too!!!!
YES!!!! Reading it correctly! They are Baked Chaklis again following the recipe of one of my Aunt staying in California.
This Diwali, take the combo pack! Healthy and Unhealthy :) :) :) Just kidding!
Lets' quickly take a look at Ingredients:
- 3 cups - Rice Flour
- 1 cup - Sour Cream/Plain white Yogurt
- 2 tbsp - jeera
- 2 tbsp - sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp - red chilli powder
- Green Chilli - as per the taste
- Ginger Paste - as per the taste
- 2 tbsp - Olive oil or 3 tbsp of Ghee
- Salt as per the taste
|All ingredients required for making the Chakli|
|Oil, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder and Sour Cream|
|Ginger paste, Green Chilli Paste and Cumin Seeds|
|Salt and Sesame Seeds|
|Take Rice flour in a pan|
|Bind it with adding some water and make a soft dough.|
|Dough is ready :)|
|Cover it with a bowl for 15-20 minutes.|
|Important! Grease an aluminum foil and place chaklis into it. Preheat the oven on 375f and bake it for around 30-40 minutes or till they are brown. Mine got little more darker just keep a watch on it. And if not working out, just deep fry it :)|
