Gobi Manchurian

Indo-Chinese fusion is always amazing and delicious to eat :) I tried for the first time Gobi Manchurian and turned out yummy :) In my recipes, you will find Ginger and Carrot as I used it due to Medical Issues :) Although, it is optional if anybody do not eat.

Lets' look at Ingredients:
  • 1 medium sized Cauliflower florets
For Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp - olive or canola or regular oil
  • 1 Chopped Ginger
  • 1 chopped green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - cornflour mixed with 1/2 cup of water.
  • 1/4 cup - chopped celery
  • 1 cup - big sized chopped capsicum ( I used green and orange)
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Salt to the taste
Batter:
  • 1 cup -  Maida
  • 1/4 cup - Cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • Approximately 1/2 cup water
Method:

Mix the corn starch with water and set aside.

Now add  celery and capsicum for about two minute. Then add all the ingredients for sauce except corn starch, (chili sauce, salt soy sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, and sugar).

Sauce is ready :) :)

Cauliflower Florets

All Purpose Flour batter is ready. Make sure it is not too watery.

Heat Oil for deep frying. Dip the florets into the batter and then put it in the heated oil. Let it get fry till they are brown or red.

Mix the florets into the prepared sauce and garnish it with Coriander leaves.

Serve Hot and Enjoy :)
