This dish is almost guilt free and has new version of binding the pattice :) THIN POHA plays an important role in forming the perfect bind of pattice. I just loved it and going to try in other recipes too as required.
Lets' go through Ingredients:
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp - Chana Daal
- 1 - 1 1/2 cup - Spinach
- 1/4 cup - Boiled green peas
- 1/4 cup - Coriander leaves
- 2 chopped green chillies
- 1/2 piece of Ginger
- Salt to the taste
- 1 tsp - Chaat Masala
- 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
Other Ingredients:
- 2 cups - Poha (Approximately, this will be used for binding)
- Oil for spray
Method:
|
Wash, Soak Daal for around 1 to 1 1/2 hours. |
|
Pressure cook the daal by adding ginger and chilli and take around 3 whistles |
|
Combine the Spinach, boiled green peas, coriander leaves and cooked daal. Give it a good blend without using water. If at all required, make sure it is not more than 1 tbsp of water. |
|
Wash the thin Poha and add it to the misture. Add all the spices to it including salt. It is optional to add the lime juice. Although, I added around 2 tsp to get good taste. |
|
Mixture is ready!!! GO GREEN :) :) |
|
Make the pattice and garnish it with the sesame seeds. Looks very beautiful. |
|
I have garnish it with sesame seeds on both sides. Shallow fry it in the pan or Griddle |
|
Looks super pretty and tasty. All set to eat it with MINT & Coriander Chutney. |
|
Amazing texture. |
|
We had it all and got over in few minutes. It was followed by the amazing dessert 'Sandesh' |
Happy Eating :)
