The most delicious and easily made Indian Dessert - "Sandesh"
Here is the list of Ingredients and this will make around 15 Sandesh :)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 - 1 cup - Fresh Paneer (I made the Paneer at home)
- 10-12 strings of Saffron (Kesar)
- 7-8 Sliced Pistachios
- 2 tbsp - Cardamom Powder
- 1/3 cup - Sugar (Usually it takes less than that)
Method:
How to Make Paneer:
Heat the milk and let it come to the boil. Add lime juice (around 1 whole lime) and stir in between |
You can see the Paneer has started forming leaving the water aside. |
Strain the Paneer into the Muslin Cloth and wash it with the cold water. This will leave behind the lime fragrance. Squeeze the muslin cloth tightly to remove the excess water from Paneer |

Knead the Paneer very well with your fingers to make it soft like a dough. |

DeleteYou do not need to fry too much. Just put the paneer mixture into the pan and stir it on LOWER FLAME for 4 minutes only. That's it and done!
