Moong Daal Paneer Chilla

This dish is full of healthy ingredients. It has full of protein and calcium into it :) And this makes the dish more delicious and amazing :)

Lets' look at Ingredients:  


Measurements below will make around 10 chillas (as shown the size)

  • 1 cup - Moong Daal
  • 1/2 cup - Grated Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
  • 1/4 cup - Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • Few drops of lime juice
  • 1-2 tsp of Black Pepper
  • Salt to the taste
Method:

Wash properly 2 - 3 times and soak Daal for around 2 to 3 hours. 

After soaking!

Blend Daal coarsely and make it like a dosa batter consistency.
Grate Paneer (If Paneer is in freezer, then take out before 2 to 3 hours and get it into room temperature)

Mix Coriander leaves, black pepper, drops of lime juice, salt and chopped green chilli.
Once mixture and batter is ready, heat the Tava and pour the batter as shown in the picture. 

Add  1 or 2 tbsp of mixture on to it and let it get shallow fry adding little of oil in the sides. 

Just like thepla, make it brown in color 

Brown in color from both sides :)
